Translate the interface of the AntDM software, if your language is not available.

Currently, the languages available in AntDM are: (already available)
- Italian, Ukrainian, German, Simplified Chinese, Slovenian language, Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, Hungarian, Traditional Chinese, Greek, English, French, Russian, Slovak, Spanish-Mexican, Romanian, Dutch, Arabic, Persian, Polish, Turkish , Portuguese (Portugal).

Japanese : need volunteer to improve the translation
Norwegian : need volunteer to improve the translation
Swedish – Sweden : need volunteer to improve the translation


If your language is not available, you can contribute and make the translation into your language.
For your work, we will offer you a lifetime license for the AntDM software.

How shall we do it?

1/ in your AntDM installation, you can find the English language file.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Ant Download Manager\Languages\0409_en.lng" language interface file

2/ copy this file to another folder
3/ in this other folder, you can start translating the file in your language

you can open this file with the Windows notepad or you can use the free software " Notepad++" (or another text editor you prefer)
or also the excellent , "Visual Studio Code" or his clone "VSCodium" (binary releases of VS Code without MS branding/telemetry/licensing) with the extension "NML Language Support" -Syntax Highlighting for: .nml, .pnml, .lng

4 /the instructions for the translation, to be imperatively respected:
for example, you have to translate the text in bold (and keep the other elements)

10149=Maximum active downloads (%u-%u)
10110=File\n "%s"\n not found.
10071=File "%s" already downloaded.
20003=Add %u movies
20015=Cannot launch AntDM.exe.\n\nIf error reoccurs, please reinstall application.
20029=Cannot launch AntDM.\nProbably not launched antMR.exe broker service.

5/ There is language codes https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/ms905072
The language fIle has to have name <language code>_<language character code>.lng
For example, for Japan 0411_ja.lng
0411 : REG_SZ "ja;Japanese"

Fix the language file header:
LANGID=0411
LANGCODE=ja
LANGNAME=<the name of the language in your language>
TRANSLATION=your name if you want
FLAG=Flags\ja16.png

I have already mentioned in another thread that I am impressed with the capabilities, stability and development of AntDM.

This is a good opportunity to get a lifetime license and at the same time support the project by doing a translation of AntDM.

I have completed the translation of AntDM in Hindi language. I will submit it to the developers.
