Problem with Google Sites Empty Problem with Google Sites

Post by jvidal Tue 11 Jun - 1:55

Hi!

Every time I visit a google site, like Google drive or google maps, AntDM downloads a file called "response.bin". I don't think this is correct. Can you look into it, please?
(and yes, I thought about removing the .bin extension form the list of extensions, but I don't wanna do that, since I usually download files with that extension)

Please do "Config\File Types\Automatically start downloading...." remove BIN extension or click Default button.

If this does not help, then give me a link for the test.

If you re-read my original post, I write that I don't wanna do that, because I usually download files of the .bin type. Is there other way to exclude specific files from specific servers?

Edit: There is IN FACT another way to do it. just exclude Http://ogs.google.com, Https://ogs.google.com, that does the trick.
Maybe this should be included by default in the next version of AntDM. It won't download "response.bin" EVEN IF the bin type is in the automatically download list

Ok, try to use "Do not automatically from the following sites" feature. Add to this text box these sites.

tanks!
Although it works for google drive and google maps, when you visit transparencyreport.google.com, it doesn't. still needs more testing I guess, to determine exactly which domains to block.

Edit: it seems that adding transparencyreport.google.com to the exclusions works.

myaccount.google.com should also be added to the exclusions, else the response.bin file is downloaded and that interferes with the normal operation of the site.

drive.google.com/*.bin needs to be added to the default list of exclusions. If not, Ant keeps downloading the file response.bin, which interferes with the correct operation of the site.
hangouts.google.com/*.bin should be added as well, else gmail doesn't work properly.
another one: contacts.google.com
more: one.google.com

Try to add this exception to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ant Download Manager\exclude_addrs_def.txt" as string "https?://*.drive.google.com/*.bin"

If it will work then I update this file and "*myaccount.google.com*" remove from the exception site list.

myaccount.google.com should not be removed from the exclude list.
why edit the .txt file when you can add the exclusions from the program?

What i'm saying is that these addresses should be included (excluded, actually) by default in the next version of AntDM...

Some time ago I added an exception string "https?://*.google.com/*.bin".
It should work for play.google.com.
What type of file did you mean?
