Cannot download (or complete a download) from YouTube

I'm trying to download a YouTube video, which is approx 3.5 hours long (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnIeknursww)
The download shows two bars - a small red bar and a main yellow bar.  The red one seems to increase, sometimes drops, then jitters, increases, etc.  The yellow one gets up to 80% then drops.  Eventually it throws an error (fragment download error).  If you click 'start' again, the percentage drops drastically, eg, back to 75%, climbs to 80%, then the pattern restarts.

ADM is downloading while this is happening - its happily downloading at ~1.8 MB sec.  

I've reinstalled several times to no effect.
This has happened on different YouTube videos, not just this one.
This is downloading to my storage drive, which isn't the drive with the OS on.  Both drives though have 40 GB free, so its not a space issue.
OS is Windows 10 22H1.
ADM version is 2.10.4 x64.  Same issue occurs on the non-64 version.
Smaller youTube vids work fine (eg, music videos ~4 minutes).  This video (and other ones that have failed) exceed 3 hours.

The post above already has an example. Its pretty much any long (> 1 hour) YouTube video.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am downloading at 480p, so ~600 MB.
Torrent downloads at ~600 MB download fine.
I assume as no one else has moaned it must be just me. Otherwise you'd have other complaints.
I guess my system is no longer compatible.
I still don't know what the red bar under the main download progress is. I presume some sort of buffer.
Are there no logs or debug to indicate whats going on?

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce your issue.
Your test video downloads quickly without errors.
The blue progress bar is a video download. The red narrow bar is the audio track download.
If the red bar breaks and comes back, it means that for some reason the audio file cannot be downloaded or is downloaded with an error.
Open the log window in the progress window - button two arrows to the right.
Try to disable settings Main Settings\Video Capture\Faster YouTube File downloads

So the logging was sort of useful. Showed a number of fragments being downloaded. The sequence of the fragments was all over the place .. is this expected?

It was downloading fine, then a couple of errors.

As you can see, it was still downloading fragments with the bar bouncing around .. it wasn't reporting any obvious errors.

I've reinstalled, but I'll try again on a virtual PC. Something else may have gotten installed screwing with things.
