Ant Download Manager says video with .mp4 format and downloads videos with .webm format

Ant Download Manager shows a balloon on top of the Youtube video, clicking on the balloon shows the resolution option for each video with mp4 format, when selecting the resolution and mp4 format desired to download and when the file finishes downloading the file is in webm format!

Download a video with "mp4" format and when you finish downloading the video is in "webm" format?
It was supposed to be a video in mp4 format!      

MP4 and WEBM are containers (envelopes) for codecs. Depending on which codec, the video is encoded and the audio is assigned an container.
The final user should not worry the type of container,  this only applies only applies to the old players that I do not understand WEBM google format.
YouTube supplies a video encoded by several different codecs (H264, P9, ACC, Opusm, Vorbis, etc)
The program automatically selects a video with the most suitable codec and glues it with ACC sound.
The container is established depending on the selected codecs. More often it is MP4.

Or your question why the pictures do not correspond to the expansion of the final file?
Because on this receipt of information about the video it is impossible to determine which container will turn out after all transformations, but more often MP4.

But why not say the final format of the video?
The webm format has the video all checkered and crashes in VLC media player 3.0.16 while the mp4 format plays both video and audio normally.

Transcoding the video with another codec in order to change the video container is the worst option. It takes more time, and most importantly any transcoding worsens video quality.
